Defective item I received this item and it was defective. When we plugged it in, it started rattling, as if the motor was detached from casing. I contact the company and they tell me to send it back and they will send me a new one. Powerful pump at 12′ depth in 1/2 acre pond. I have this connected to a 9″ round small bubble diffuser via a 3/8″ sinking air line, in a pond that is 12 ft deep and approximately 1/2 acre. I was concerned at first because this is rated at 6.53 psi, and I wasn’t sure it it could handle the depth.
