arbor Great price…and very sturdy. Only small criticism is one of the pole toppers had a small hole (which I fixed & painted no problem–certainly not worth sending back). After one season I see a couple of places where it has rusted by one of the screw holes (exterior is treated but not the inside of the screw hole…once again, no biggie). Love the purchase – perfect for my purposes (in addition to being pretty, the crossbar and hanging plants effectively block the neighbor’s security light that occasionally shines in our eyes while sitting outside)
Not a wide as I needed I bought this to go over exiting Wisteria plants due to the width of the unit. The width in the description is the top (with overhang) NOT THE BASE. Base is only 47 1/2″. Unfortunately, this is exactly the same width as my plants that are ten years old and not moving, so it won’t fit inside them nor outside. Unit is sturdy and well made. Instructions are sparse but fine as it is a pretty simple assembly. Think I’m going to have to try and reverse the arches at the top (probably some drilling for a mounting point on top, and then get something done about longer base bars for the bottom. Lot of trouble that could have been avoided by a more accurate description of the product.
Toscana Abor I put together this abor on my own, which was a big mistake! Someone needs to be holding the other end of the poles while putting it together. The instructions could have been a little more specific, there was nothing that showed you which way the main poles should be facing when you construct it. You soon find out when you find you have done it the wrong way, and have to change it again! The powder coating scrapes off easily during construction, which i hope does not rust quickly. The pegs that hold it in place, are much too short for soft ground. When finally put together it looks wonderfull and has brought lots of comments. I can’t comment on rust as it has only just gone into the garden. On the whole i love it, but for your own sanity, bring a friend along for the ride!
