Watch out for wire mesh care Bought this in Feb. for our camping trips this spring and summer, as most fire rings have no air flow or are in wrong place. Upon receipt, read instructions on set up and use. Couldn’t wait for our camping trip so put it up on our patio, set up easy, some dry twigs and rolled paper towels more than enough to start split fire wood. I am Impressed First off I bought this for river trips. We have four big river trips planned for this summer all require a fire pan for leave no trace fires. I did my research, extensively, and this one seemed to be the best of all options. I contacted the Colorado Forest Service and did verify this fire pit is accepted on all Forest Service and BLM lands.
