Installation:
1. Put the pump totally in the water with it is nozzle over the water ,be sure the pump is fixed firmly on the bottom of the fountain to avoid vibration.
2. Plug the jack of pump in the jack of solor panel output .
3. Put the solar panel under enough sunlight and be better to face directly to sun.

Good enough for a bird bath fountain Actually, this little pump does very well for what I bought it for. The pump base is shallow, about an inch, allowing it to sit in and pull water from shallow bird bath basins. I put my own pencil nozzle on it and when the sun is full, the pump shoots a stream of water 6 inches into the air. I’m pleased.
works fine i had one before, it worked fine until it was left to run dry, these are great little pumps, just be sure to always keep enough water to keep pump covered.
solar-power water pump The first pump I received had the front cover piece broken. It was made of plastic and easily breakable. I was surprised and pleased when the seller replaced the entire pump instead of just the cover. The pump needs a weight to hold it down and upright in murky water. It works well when the panel gets direct sunlight but doesn’t shoot the water up as far as expected. Nevertheless, it seems to be a good little pump although quite fragile.
