Good upgrade to existing light fixtures I was skeptical about these bulbs, so I only bought two to start with. I replaced two of the stock 1141 bulbs with these LED replacements in my camp trailer and compared light output between these LED bulbs and the stock bulbs. These LED bulbs provide a much whiter light (similar to a fluorescent bulb) than the stock bulbs. In comparison, the light from the stock bulbs looked yellow.Wanting to also verify their efficiency, I rigged up a test socket and ran the current through my FLUKE multimeter. I was using a power supply that was generating 14.03 volts for the test. The two LED bulbs drew 0.060 amps and 0.061 amps. The two stock 1141 bulbs drew 1.469 amps and 1.479 amps once they were heated up. The stock bulbs drew slightly more amps when cold. These measurements mean that the LED bulbs drew roughly 1/24th the power that the stock 1141 bulbs did.The LED lights produced almost no heat. The stock 1141 bulbs got so hot that I had to let them cool for a minute or two before I could remove them. The light output of the 1141 bulbs was noticeably higher at 14 volts. When hooked up to my camp trailer batteries producing 12.7 volts, the difference was not as great, but the 1141 bulbs still seemed slightly brighter. To conclude, the LED bulbs were not quite as bright as stock 1141 bulbs, but they still provide a nice white light that illuminates well. If you needed more light, you could turn on more lights in your camp trailer. At 1/24th the power consumption, every light in the camp trailer could be running and you would still consume less battery power. I will be replacing all the bulbs in my camp trailer with these LED bulbs.
Great Lamp I got this lamp to replace the 1141 Lamp in a table lamp for a boat. The shade clips on like the original lamp. The light output is more than I expected, about like a 12 watt #93 bulb. Color is a pleasing cool white florescent color. Power drain is about 1 1/2 watts vs 12 to 18 for incandescent. I highly recommend this LED lamp for your boat or RV.
