Solar Mission Lantern Love almost everything about these.I ordered three for my patio and I’m very happy with the brightness, a bit more than I expected, and the length of the charge. They stay on all night. (Of course, I do live on Maui and the sun works really hard here.)The only downside is the little plastic circles inside the lanterns that are supposed to look like condensation. They are totally hokie and really bite into the otherwise fairly classy look of the lanterns. I suspect that I simply didn’t notice them in the photos or bother to read the description well enough.So, because of the tacky plastic drops inside the lanterns, they lost a star.
they worked great for about 6 months and now they are dead! This is a great looking lantern, nicely built and very bright light with a flicker. When I got the first one I was so impressed a bought a second! Put one in my garden and one on my patio. unfortunately they are not reliable and both of them are now dead. I replaced the batteries in them both and got one to come back partially, but its a real disappointment for sure. Of course there is no warranty so at this price beware that you may have the same luck I had and they will die in 6 months or so. I hope others have better luck. I won’t buy these again for sure.
Good Purchase I am happy with this lantern for several reasons. First, the price is so reasonable . So many lanterns are very pricey. Secondly, it looks very classy. I have it on a shepherd’s hook off of the corner of my porch and it looks great. I am done with hanging plants that die too early in the season and are a waste of money. This Lantern will be there through the seasons and I don’t have to have an empty hook. It gives off a warm glow. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase and I am glad I found it on Amazon. It also came quickly through Premiere Carrier . I had heard negative comments bout their service , but no complaints here.
