I ordered six 30W light fixtures for a project to light up the back of my company’s building. Overall I’m happy with the result. For my application, the 30W lights are mounted over 22 ft high. One worry was that the light would not illuminate the area adequately being so high. We were pleasantly surprised that area was well lit for our purposes.The lighting is visually different. Perceptually, the light looks a little bit purple when you first arrive at the site. That was because our eyes had adjusted to the yellowish street lights before arriving. After a few minutes at the site, the lighting looks cool colored. Another difference is that the lighting was relatively even across the site. With the halogen lighting that we had before, the lighting was intense directly beneath the light and dark as you ventured further from the the source.For the installation, we used a liquid tight strain relief connector to connect the cord to the electrical box. The light comes with a thin cable and is open ended.Overall, we are pleased with the quality of lighting and the energy savings.
