Great little pump This little pump is a gem. It is very small but that makes it inconspicuous. I’m using it in a 125 gal. preformed garden pool and it’s just enough to make it interesting. It does need strong sunlight to create a flow but let’s face it, I wouldn’t be able to see it in the dark anyway. At one point it stopped working but it turned out something had plugged it up. However, it was VERY easy to take apart and clean and was running again in minutes. If you just want a fun little effect in your pond or bird bath, I would strongly suggest this pump.
Attract more birds! This pump kit arrived promptly and was well-packaged. While we don’t have the final birdbath for our garden yet, we have set it up in a temporary situation and it has been running for several days through long hours of sunlight. It produces good pressure through any of the heads provided — in full sun, the fountain spray is well over a foot high — and the long cord means you can place the small solar panel a distance away from the fountain if needed for better sun exposure. It’s currently working at a lower spray level even under overcast skies. This is a great way to turn a basic birdbath into an attractive fountain with as little as two to three inches of water in which to place the pump, which has suction cups to keep it attached to your structure. A good purchase!
