NOT WATERPROOF ORIGINAL REVIEW 2 out of 5.I used silicone to seal the edges in the event of rain. While washing my house some water got onto the light. That night it broke. You could argue that it was stupid to wash the house, or you could argue that the item shouldn’t read waterproof, if it isn’t waterproof.Your call!——–UPDATE———–To my surprise the light came back on. Perhaps it just needed to dry. Whatever the case it’s working perfectly. Great product as of right now.
Great product. LEDs not as pictured. Works great with very sensitive movement detection. One downside is that its LEDs are not as advertised. Each of six tiny LEDs are directly visible from outside which makes it 6 super bright dazzling ‘SPOT’s of light. other than that, this is solid good product. fyi, i opened back cover by removing 4 screws, and it is not really rainproof. If you are planning to install this outdoors, use silicon sealant to seal open areas.UPDATE: no. of LEDs is four. not six.
Works Great! I ordered this one because it was cheaper than a similar brand. I am glad I ordered this one! It stays dimly lit at sundown and throughout the night, but gets really bright when it senses motion. Lights up adequately. I mounted above the doors of a small resin shed I have in the corner of my yard which does not get any light. When I open my gate to throw the trash and return, it lights the way for me. I couldn’t be happier.
