Great light but far from warm white I bought this to hang over a low-tech fresh-water 30gal cube planted aquarium. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and the plants (anubias, crypt, moneywort…easy plants) are growing and no sighs of algae. I also really liked the plug-n-play aspect; didn’t need to do any wiring. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the 6,000K looks more like 10,000K to me but once I got used to it that’s OK. I think that two of these over a nano reef should work great. They also have a 2,900K fixture that may look warmer if that’s important to you. I’m thinking about buyin more for my other tanks.
