Light it if you got it Item comes well packged. Has option to use built in QD picatinny mount body or to use hand held body. Just unscrew ends and switch bodies. Item is 5 5/16 inches long with pressure switch attachment (cable is coiled and is able to strectch to 20″ in length) and 5 1/2 with twist on/off cap. Light is 1″ to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Pressure switch stays on only when pressure is applied. Light is very bright and has good distance (tested to forty feet so far). Will operate in 30 degree F temperature. Tested firing 20 ga, 2 3/4″ shells, no problems in my Remmington 870 home defense weapon. Though a little bigger than I thought it would be, it mounts easily to the magazine tube extention picatinny mount with no interference to operation of the weapon. I taped the pressure switch to the fore grip so my fingers can easily press on it. Coiled cable has little to no effect on cycling the weapon. It comes with one CR123 battery that has enough juice in it to provide a very bright light. I did purchase rechargable spares and a charger . Overall I am very satisfied with the light and I’m sure it well provide me with a dependable light source in an intruder scenario.
Big Definitely looks “big” on my quad rail. Not crazy about the screw in cap that you leave loose and “touch” to operate. Would prefer a “click type” screw in cap. The pressure switch & cap seem to work fine, but I’m not a fan of those types. This one is somewhat small and I anticipate it will break soon – but I don’t plan to use it much anyway. With my vertical group & the way it’s mounted, I will just use the other cap and “push it in” as needed.Very solid, and bright. Good value. I should’ve reviewed the dimensions though because it does look bigger/heavier than I thought it would just based on the picture (I know, my fault there).
