Cheap The transformer unit failed after 1 1/2 years. The switch will turn the lights on and off but now it decided not to turn the lights off after 4 hours when the switch is pointing towards the “4” on the dial. The light sensor doesn’t seem to be working.The system that allows you to connect two wires by puncturing the insulation works some times. The system is connected to an outside “fault sensitive” socket. Rain causes the “fault sensor” to shut the system down.Very cheaply made. Several screws in the transformer box came cross threaded. Grease on the rotary switch ran all over the contacts and prevented proper operation.
Save your money! This transformer didn’t last 1 year. First the clock wouldn’t keep the correct time. Then, the photo cell wouldn’t work. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.
