You’ve seen them in restaurants and theaters–those tubes full of lights proprietors use to mark stair edges and other potential hazards that might be fallen down or tripped over in dim light. That’s not to say that Good Earth Lighting’s rope lighting products can only be used in public venues–you could use them as funky accent lighting in a living room, party lighting, or to outline a path in your backyard.

The key to using these lights to full effect is mounting them securely, and everything you need in order to do this is included in the hardware kit, which contains mounting clips, cable ties, and screws. The lights themselves are extremely long-lasting–they’re rated at 35,000 hours, and the heavy-duty PVC rope is an unobtrusive 3/8-inch in diameter. For longer runs, you can easily connect one set to another (up to 330 feet maximum).

The G9524CLR-I is 24 feet long, and operates at 120 volts. If you need other lengths, see the 6-, 12-, and 48-foot models (#G9506CLR-I, #G9512CLR-I, #G9548CLR-I). Note that these lights will heat up when in use–they should not be left on unattended. UL listed.–Josh Dettweiler
