What a breeze I used this anchor system for a 15 X 12 ft canopy and it worked out great. To avoid driving the rod through the anchors I did as someone else suggested and drove the rod in the ground first to create a pilot hole. I then put the rod in the anchors and drove them as far down as i needed. I was installing in a patio area with brick pavers covering the whole area so I had to pry up a brick where each anchor had to be driven otherwise the job would have been done in twenty minutes but it was…
Solid Sturdy and gets the job done. I used 4 of these to anchor a new shed I’m building. We put down the frame for the foundation then drove these into the four corners and then mounted it to the plywood flooring. When both my friend and I tried together to pull one back out and couldn’t even budge it an inch I am not worried about the shed moving even in the strongest winds west Texas has to offer.
