Nice planter I chose this one because I had two complete sets…. stacked them on each other and put a rod down the center as suggested by some. It came with two trays, not one, holds 24 plants. I’ve only had it for a week or so but so far I really like it. The top tiers drip into every-other tray (if you look at the picture you may see what I mean, it drips into the one beneath it. I bought one set of these for 2 of my daughters. The 3rd one said “What about me?”, so I ordered another set. Couldn’t be happier with them. I didn’t put them on the chain, nor did I put a rod down the middle. I need to transport these (now that they’re filled) and I figure it’ll work best if I lay them out one layer at a time, then re-assemble once it reaches it’s final destination.
