Good pump for pond and aquarium use This pump is the most reliable pump that I have used for aqurium/pond application. After 18 months of running 7 by 24, the pump is still going strong.The only issue I had so far is that the pump seem to run noisy with reduced flow recently. After opening up the cover a couple times, I figured out the reason for the noise. Great fountain pump Admittedly, I have had mixed results with garden pumps I have tried in the past. I have an odd fountain set up where the water flows into a reservoir without the pump being immersed in the water. As such, there seems to be a little more wear and tear on pumps I have tried, especially because the fountain turns on in May and gets turned off in September.
