Nice design, well priced, but it has some shortcomings This is a simply designed, relatively well priced “old technology,” analog column thermometer. It mounts easily on a window frame to face indoors to keep track of the weather.But here are some quibbles that leave me less than completely happy with the purchase. (1) This seems to be pretty cheaply manufactured. For example, the end caps do not fit squarely on the end of the glass tube that holds the thermometer, so the whole thing looks a bit ill-fitted.
