Great value After having 3 -70watt HPS wall packs fail, I decided to take a chance on this light. When I first opened the box, my immediate reaction was “this is it??” I installed it right at dusk & turned it on. Yikes! It is at a height of about 15feet, and easily lights my 26×36 patio area, covering the adjacent yard as well. As my wall is brick with only a wire projecting out, I elected to use a “box less” mounting, fastening the mount ring directly to the brick. This worked very well…
Dont let the size fool you, wish I would have purchased this before a halogen unit. Replaced 500 watt halogen with this unit. It’s brighter and clearer. The halogen was a motion detection unit which never ran properly. I have this over my driveway and it illuminates 30+ feet to the road. Installation was a breeze due to pre-existing wiring and mount. It’s mounted about 15-20′ high.the dusk till dawn feature works without troubles and the LED bulbs pour out true white lights.
