This product could save your pump! I’ve installed several of these pump bags and I’m quite pleased. For those of you who have small back yard ponds or install ponds, and your pump isn’t housed in a skimmer (or even if it is), this product helps to prevent medium to large debris from getting to your pump impeller. Extend the life of your pump I keep my pond pumps down in the main part of the pond (no skimmers) so they tend to pull in anything floating loose in the water. Before adding this bag, cleaning the intake was a daily task and if I missed it, the pump was working harder to pull water in the clogged openings.
