Had I known what a great deal it was, I’d’ve bought another two pack.There is some simple assembly required and the kit includes some adapters I’ve never seen on solar lights. I like that the user has two configurations from which to choose: the conventional stake in the ground or the more decorative hanging coach lantern. In addition there are pieces included that will double the height of either configuration. An adapter is needed to double the height of the stake design.I’ve observed that the light spreads significantly further the higher the light is placed. Of course the intensity decreases with the distance. These 2.4 lumen output lights are indeed brighter than regular solar lights. The light does last all night as long as the units are charged with enough sunlight during the day. Mine get about six hours of sunlight a day where they are located, and so far that seems sufficient.Directions state that it takes 8 – 12 recharging cycles for the batteries to reach full capacity. I haven’t reached that number yet, and I’m already satisfied with the brightness and performance of these lights.The poles for the hanging design are metal. The stakes are plastic.
