The next generation of composting is now available. The Compost Wizard Dueling Tumbler combines some of the greatest features in our tumblers to create a compact tumbler that does it all. With compost tumblers, users are restricted to working with one batch at a time. The Dueling Tumbler overcomes this drawback by supporting two batches running simultaneously. Each 25 gallon chamber is separated and can compost independently. Also on the Dueling Tumbler is a compost tea collecting base which collects excess composting liquid for later use on plant root and soil. As with the majority of our tumblers, the Dueling Tumbler is manufactured using recycled Polyethylene in Lake City, Pennsylvania. This plastic is BPA free and FDA approved for contact with edibles. Setting up the composter is easy; Simply place the composter in a mostly sunny spot (partial shade in hotter climates) and you’re done. The composter comes fully assembled. The Dueling Tumbler will take your composting to the next level.

Great backyard composter Just received our Dueling Tumbler and it seems to be a good one. The dual chambers will be nice for “resting” one side while filling the other. It is a little small compared to other single-chamber composters, but the combined volume seems to be around 50 gallons as the description says. The tumbler rolls easily on wheels embedded in the base, and there is a single compost tea collector hole in the center of the base (similar to an oil drain pan). I’m a little worried about rain getting in there, but we’ll have to see when summer gets here. All in all its light enough for my wife to carry (while empty), rolls easily on the base, and fits in our small backyard. At $120 or so it’s a little pricey, but it feels pretty durable.
Easy to use! I loved that there was absolutely no assembly needed on this – just drag the box to the garden, pull out the composter, and set it down on the ground. The biggest job was deciding where we wanted to put it! Love the dual chambers and how easy it is to spin – my 9 year old daughter LOVES to turn it and can easily manage that job. Only problem is how fast we seem to be filling it up – we might need another one to start filling up before we get compost from this (we cleaned out our garden so we had a lot of organic material to work with).
