… right out of the box and I was very happy about that All the lights worked right out of the box and I was very happy about that, after reading the reviews. They cast a nice light on our walkway and they went together very easily. The reason I didn’t rate them any higher is because they are made of flimsy plastic rather than “bronze” as the name implies and I would expect their life to be much shorter than the previous Hampton Bay pathway lights, of which most are still working over six years after I bought them. These lights require lots of sunlight to work 0
I purchased these lights because they matched a set purchased earlier in the year at a big box retailer. I was under the impression that the unit was new and in new condition-it was not. To my surprise, 2 out of the 6 lights were not functional and 1 of the 2 lacked all parts. That said, other than that, how does one complain about lights that cost something like $40 bucks? They work (At least 4 do!), they were inexpensive err cheap…..As my mother says, “You get what you pay for.’…
