Remote wall switch/dimmer Works great. Family can’t remember to turn the light off, so tried these. You walk in pantry, laundry, etc. and the lights come on for the time pre selected. I ended up buying more of these. A good value.
Awesome, but you might have to work for it. i love the heath Zenith line of remote control lighting products i’ve used them for along time. but a few warnings. It only works with incandecent bulbs. you’ll need either a ground or neutral wire with your light swith to install this. simply put the green wire is used for the return power on the radio. what i had to do is remove the wire going to my switch since my house was built before they had grounds, and replace it with 14/3, i used the black and red wires as the switching wires and white as neutral. my switch was black/black(hot), black/red(light), white/green(neutral). check how your house is wired. i was lucky i have a ranch style house so i incured minamal damage doing the rewire.always remove power by the breaker, never work alone. voltages hazardous to life exist. contact a licensed electrican if you have questions.do not use this to control anthing other than incandecent lights, compact flouresent will flicker something fierce. and anything else might get damaged.over all the swich is great, i love the dimming of the light, i use many heath zeinth protucts and they are all pretty good, range is adaquate for short distances. i already have a remote, if you dont you’ll want to look at [update]10 months going strong. Still works well. i love the seperate dim controls. so i can wake up with it dim, and go bright only if i need to. worth the extra effort.
