This Heath/Zenith SL-6032-WH-A wireless motion sensor can be mounted just about anywhere–inside or out–for conveniently controlling motion-sensor lights in a home, office, or commercial setting. Thanks to its DualBrite mode, the motion sensor signals the light to change from low-level accent lighting to full bright when it detects motion. Select night-only or day/night motion detection, then set the timer to one or five minutes to indicate how long the light should stay on after motion stops. The unit detects motion in a 240-degree range and up to 100 feet away, making it easy to place the sensor in a variety of locations (up to 100 feet) for remotely activating the light. An adjustable mounting bracket comes included for wirelessly installing the unit to an eave or wall. The light also features a weather-sealed battery compartment, and it requires two AA batteries (not included) for operation. Add additional sensors (sold separately) for enhanced motion-sensor coverage in and around the home or place of business. Other highlights include adjustable sensitivity, test mode, a two-year limited warranty, and a sleek stylish design.

Works but not that straightforward… Had decided to add an additional wireless motion sensor to my current one sensor setup. It did not work initially – it would turn it on but not off. Until I “rebooted” both sensors by removing the batteries and putting them back. Only then did the switch work with both sensors properly. The unit I bought from Amazon looked refurbished – they was excess glue squeezed out at the seams. The AAA batteries lasted a year.
Wireless remote wall switch This is a good device depending on your expectations. None of the wireless devices I’ve used or read about are 100% dependable. This one works well but transmission range thru outside house wall is only about 20 feet. There is no adjustment for light sensing level as there was in older Heath Zenith products so interference from ambient light makes this unit think it is daytime and therefore inoperative (if you have set it for nightime use only as most people do for outside lights). ( I opened the unit and put a piece of scotch tape over the light sensing diode which helped to decrease the sensitivity.
Works fine, perhaps a little too sensitive. This sensor worked exactly as advertised and installed without a hitch. I use it to control an outside light that’s screwed into one of their special socket adapters (), and it turns on the light quite reliably. The light sometimes comes on in the middle of the night when I don’t expect it, perhaps because of a coyote or deer wandering into its field of view, and I think the sensor may sometimes respond to heavy snow. But overall it seems to work very well.
