Amazingly Strong and Effective We purchased this item as a barrier to deter our neighbors from constantly backing up onto our front yard. After 4 years of frustration and not being able to afford expensive rock, I decided to search for some type of reflector. This item immediately caught my eye, as it wasn’t as ugly as the barricade and cones that I’ve had up since August. Just today, we were able to drive each marker down into the soil to about 3 ft high which is a perfect height for reflecting off of car head and tail lights. I had originally drove them into the ground for measurement purposes only about a week ago; even so, they’ve worked magic in terms of making people aware of what they are doing and where they are going. As well, we have one tree that juts out at the end of our driveway. This marker will save the tree from being hit again and will guide drivers to where road really is. We live on a gravel road that “dead-ends” at two houses where one owner planted a line of trees down the middle of the road. On a map, it looks like the road goes all the way through, but it doesn’t and we constantly have people flying down the road, only to stop dead and try to turn around right at our house. As well, both owners at the end of the street use the street as their driveway. One owner, constantly backs out onto our front yard to turn around. This product has finally put an end to the frustrations of a ruined front yard. THANK YOU for making this construction-grade product available to everyday homeowners.
My driveway is the last on a dead end street and therefore gets used a lot as a turnaround for drivers. The strip between my sidewalk and the street is landscaped and I got tired of drivers, especially those driving large delivery trucks, running up over the curb onto the bark mulch. I called my City and they wouldn’t allow me to install a concrete post, so I was not sure what I’d do. I searched Amazon and found the Incom Driveway Marker. It seemed like it would be perfect for helping solve my dilemma. The delivery was amazingly fast and the post has been installed for about two weeks now. It isn’t the type of barrier that will prevent trucks and cars from getting past it, but it is a highly visible, flexible post that will at least let them know they are missing the driveway. If I could change anything about this product it would be to have a chiseled end to pound into the ground. I had to dig a hole first and even then it was difficult to pound the marker into the soil. Not a huge problem, just something that would have been easier with a spiked or chiseled end.
