Too powerful for my set up and needed better tubing adapter, but is a quiet workhorse! Firstly, I am happy with the pump, but it is not perfect.It is extremely quiet and powerful. But there are some issues with cheap hose fittings on the top that I had to replace with galvanized all-thread “nipple” from local big box store.The output is high. Great volume! I first bought a 1800 GPH model (different brand), and the output was very small (only had a garden hose sized output). I have a pond that’s 8-feet deep and probably 90-feet x 40-feet. When I installed this 7900 GPH model, it was great. It has a 2-inch output. I attached a 2-inch PVC pipe to a “T” and then split to two 1-inch PVC pipes.
