Outdoor LED Floodlight 12v 10w 6000°K to 6500° K Great overall product. To test this lighting fixture I hooked it up to my power supply at 13.2v nominal (Approximates TRUE 12v deep cycle battery voltage). It was plugged in and working flawlessly for over 9 hours non-stop before I unplugged it and installed it at it’s permanent location above our 1986 Chevy “Get-Away” camper conversion van. I went out last night when it was totally dark, no moon due to clouds, went out and jerry rigged the light to work with a wall transformer temporarily, and it d**n near blinded me, because, as an idiot, I wanted to make sure and was looking right at it when it turned on in all its’ glory and left me seeing grid arrays of LEDs for about 5 minutes. THAT IS ONE BRIGHT @** light!!! The mounting was easy with the two included sliding screw holes down the inside/underside of the bracket that was attached to it. It did require a slight modification to the base of the light to fit my application, but I was expecting that, as the entire project that I am working on is a complete one-off. But it seems to be quite sturdy, and once wired in I expect to get many years service from this LED. Probably more life in that fixture then I’ll be able to use up!!! My only major beef is that is wat wrapped in a thin piece of plastic, inside a VERY thin paper box, in one of those thin plastic mailers. But despite the lack of proper packaging, the product arrived with only a minor blemish on one tiny little corner of the bracket. This I think bodes VERY WELL for the mounting on the outside of the camper conversion van, because if it can handle everything that the postal service can do to it (yes the package was ripped and torn a little, and mashed rather nicely) BUT STILL NO DAMAGE TO THE LIGHTING UNIT, HOUSING, MOUNT, OR WIRES. If this was a less robust product it would have been returned within minutes of me opening it and seeing the damage. But again THIS ONE WAS NOT DAMAGED BY THE BEST (WORST) THE POSTAL SERVICE COULD THROW AT IT!!! Overall a great product to have held up the the abuses so far. I’m not even sure that I can simulate the conditions that this light and fixture went through prior to the installation, while it is still attached to the van. So I think that I should be able to get a good 5+ years use out of it, and as long as the fixture does not break (big deal I can fabricate my own, just might anyway) I can probably get the whole fixture/LEDs and all to work for 10+ years at a minimum.
