USA made, great pump BUT….. I picked this pump because it was made in the USA and seemed very well designed. It is!! Unfortunately it is also not logically designed from one standpoint. The intake and output ports are 3/4″ NPT and the manufacturer does not make a suction hose. The smallest manufactured suction hose is 1″. This means you have to try and find 3/4″ semi-riged tubing and make your own suction hose (which I did), or use garden hose with the supplied connector, which the manufactuer recommends against since it can collapse. Why a suction hose cannot be supplied for this very beautifully made pump is beyond my comprehension, OR supply a 3/4 ” to 1″ NPT adapter.
works, but slow The pump is portable, and does what I need it to, but it is slower than I was expecting. This may be because I am running whey through it and not water, but both are pretty thin.
