Very nice outside light for stairways Sturdily made of metal, bright LED light, nice size for exterior stairs. Solar cell recharges battery, turns on when it gets dark, turns off when it gets light. The rechargeable battery is replaceable. Contrary to the 1 star review, there is no need for a switch, as it has automatic on/off, and there are very clear illustrated instructions in the box about removing the battery cover and installing/replacing the battery. Can’t open the unit to get the batteries in. I bought a single 4 pack on sale at another store last week, but they are no longer available there, so I went to Amazon. I am thrilled that they are available here, but going to see if I can get them at the lower price I have found elsewhere….I want at least 4 or five more four packs….We EASILY installed them on our 60 foot dock, and even spaced out so far, they look dramatic and terrific. Would like to fill in some spaces and attach to our boat ramp as well….and my imagination is…
I just bought these from Costco. There are NO DIRECTIONS included or on the box, but it does include mounting hardware and one rechargeable battery for each unit that is in a separate bag. It seems to be made in a sturdy fashion out of metal. There is an unattached full size rubber gasket that protects the back from moisture only if the unit is securely fastened onto a deck or other surface. There is NO on/off switch.The bad news: You have to insert the rechargeable batteries into each…
