The MicroSolar FL3-WARM can deliver 240 Lumen of 8~12 hours once fully charged.
How does it work?
During the day the MicroSolar FL3 Floodlight’s 5 watt solar panel charges its internal Lithium Ion battery giving it the power it needs to light after dark.
After dark the FL3 will activate as soon as it detects dark. At dawn the FL3 stops lighting and starts charging again ready for the night ahead.
How do I install it?
Find the best location for your solar panel within 5 meters of where you plan to have the floodlight. The location needs to be as south facing as possible and free from light obstructions such as buildings, trees, fences, bushes or the shadows that these create.
1. Position solar panel in desired location
2. Drill holes, apply screw plugs and screw panel into place
3. position the light in desired location
4. Mark holes in bracket, drill holes and insert screw plugs
5. Fix the light
6. Connect solar panel cable to light and turn on.
How waterproof is it?
The FL3 Solar Floodlight is IP65 rated. Waterproofing is rated by the IP (International Protection) system which consists of the letters IP followed by two digits. The first digit after IP ranks a products protection against solid objects. The second digit after the IP rates a products ability to protect against liquids. The FL3 Solar Floodlight is IP65 rated. IP65 means the light is protected against dust – limited ingress (no harmful deposit) and protected against strong jets of water e.g. for use on ship decks – limited ingress permitted.

Not perfect but a good value for the price. I bought 3 of these lights to illuminate the 22 foot length in the front of our house where we’ve had some minor vandalism and the sidewalk which runs along it which I have to clear in the winter. This area is exactly between 2 street lights (65 feet on either side), 1 of which inexplicably and randomly goes out at times during the night leaving it very dark, especially when there are substantial snow banks. I decided to look into solar because the wall which they are mounted on is actually…
Lights Up Side Yard Every Night – No maintenance This light works great for me. I installed the light on my two story house about 1/2 way up along the eves. I have it pointed at a birdbath in my side yard but it lights up all the shrubbery around the birdbath too from dusk to dawn – every night. It really fills in where I don’t have any lights and I was always worrying about someone tripping in that area at night but now it is well illuminated. Once more, we now keep our inside shutters open on the window on that side of the living-room…
