Got this for our media room where he have parties and music, it’s a pretty neat little toy and does a decent job of lighting up about half the room. But you really need two of them to totally cover both sides.My biggest gripe is that the microphone is not sensitive enough to pick up sounds- it’s fine if you speak directly into the mic, but even with music coming from a 7.1 system and mounted above/next to a large speaker it just doesn’t pick up the audio to allow it to strobe along with the beat.The patterns are pretty basic, just a kaleidoscope of dots, but is not bad for a low-budget dance party. Unfortunately the lasers just aren’t bright enough to let you really see the beams of light even with a hazer/fogger in the room.If you have the cash, I’d suggest spending more and getting a different one.
