These lights didn’t even last a few weeks… I’ve had these lights now for two days. I have them all set up. Very easy to assemble out of the box, took 5 minutes. Construction seems pretty sturdy and the quality of the materials is decent. They came already charged up, just had to pull a tab to connect the battery. These lights are brighter than any other solar powered lights I have personally owned and they put out a very nice design on the ground around the light. Looks like a star design on the ground and probably casts about 4 feet around the light. I’m very impressed and I think I’m going to buy another set very soon! If when I get a chance to take a picture I will post online.10/17 Update: One month later, 5/6 of these lights are not working correctly!!!!!!! I have changed the rating from five starts to one because they will not stay lit. EVERYDAY I have to pull them apart and move the battery around and whatever I can to try to keep them to stay on. Not worth it… I really did want to love these lights but now they are no good. I even had my review title as Very Nice Lights, think I’ll buy another set! but not now….
beautiful These make a very pretty pattern of light around each. They are just the right brightness and they stay on all night; sure didn’t expect that! They are so pretty in my flower beds. I am very pleasantly surprised. They’re perfect for what I wanted. I’ve even had compliments on them from the neighbors!
I want more of these I bought one set at 29.99, and now they’re up to 35.98. I wish I had bought several sets at the lower price. But 35.98 is still a good price for six of these lights. These are attractive, sturdy, and the star-shaped light is really pleasing. They worked out of the box – no need to charge. I would like to border all my landscaping in back, and my walk and driveway in front with these. FYI, in order for the stars to just meet but not overlap, I spaced them about 3.5 feet apart.Careful with the plastic stakes, they are a wee bit flimsy. I wanted to adjust the angle of one and managed to snap it off without much pressure. As another reviewer pointed out, it can be replaced with a sturdier wooden dowel and the light can still be used. Also, trust the description and not the picture when it comes to the finish. They are definitely “Pearl Bronze” and not a silver, pewter, or nickel-finish as they may appear in the picture.UPDATE January 16, 2012: Since some other reviewers have had issues with the quality or longevity of these lights, I thought I would note that after 5+ months, mine are all still working just fine.UPDATE March 22, 2012: The plastic stakes really are flimsy – beware! Otherwise, they still work and I am still happy with this purchase.
