Worked fine for 3 years but not rain tight This device is not rain proof- the control cover actually fills up with water if you close it.The transformer burned out after 3 years of use. The burn out is pretty spectacular- a fire in the control cover. Maybe something shorted out because of the water. I’m looking around for a different one to replace it with, and figured I’d write this review while at it.My recommendation is to buy this only if you can keep it dry and away from flammable locations.
JUNK-DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY Don’t waste your money on the Moonrays 95431-120watt power pack. I purchased one on April 18, 2012. As I write this, it’s only about seven weeks later, and the unit is dead as a door nail. The unit worked as it should for about five weeks, then began to have an untermittent voltage drop that caused the lights to dim, flicker, and ultimatly fail totally a few nights ago. It was in a protected area, was never abused, or had to dive more than six Malibu garden lights.
