nice I’ve used this by my garden pond for almost a year. It’s bright enough to illuminate the whole pond. Well built and attractive, all in all, a good deal.
bought 2. one was defective. both had inferior connectors. i thought this was going to be the same as the ones I had bought at Lowes, but they weren’t quite the same. The light seemed to be that same, but the connectors were not the same. The connector looks the same, but it is much inferior -* the cable from the light is not pre-attached like the lowes one, meaning that you have to try to hold the wire from the light, and the wire you are tapping into all together while you put it back together.* which leads to the second problem – the connector does not have the thumb screws like the lowes version, these have 3 screws which seemingly isn’t that much different, but it makes a world of difference as you are trying to hold the two wires in place, and close the cover, then wrestle with a screw and screwdriver, all while leaning into a shallow hole in the ground…* don’t expect the cheap metal they use in this version to actually penetrate the insulation on the cable – you’ll try to do it that way, but the points will just bend and you’ll have to bend them back, then strip some insulation off the wire and try to line everything up and hold it together as you try to put the screws in (see above points)…But, as always, you can decide for yourself…
