I bought this to replace a fluorescent bulb fixture in my laundry room. I did not like the buzzing and occasional flickering of the fluorescent light. Not only is this light quiet, no more warm up and it gives off nicer light than those 2 fluorescent bulbs. It is a simple, classic looking fixture and a nice update to my space.
