I just received my lights today and was very surprised and impressed how nice they are. They are tall, large glass cover and appear to be good quality. I am putting them out tomorrow…will see how well they work. I am very pleased at this time. I am ordering another set…you can’t beat the price for the quality!
I just received my first shipment of two sets of Paradise LED Solar Path Lights, Nickel finish, for my front yard and I’m very pleased. Most solar path lights at this price (I paid $28/set for the first two sets, and one week later they are now $32/set – disappointing but still a great price) are made entirely of plastic. The cap and finial are metal, albeit very thin metal, and the lens is actually glass, not plastic. The pole is made from the same thin metal and the stake is plastic. The lens has stippling so the light pattern is almost polka dot on the ground which is quite pretty. The light is definitely more cool/blue tinted than warm/yellow, which is typical of LED lights. The nickel finish is actually a deep matte charcoal so it doesn’t look anything like nickel to me, however, I have a traditional style home so true nickel would not have been a good fit but I dislike brass. I’ve just ordered another two sets for my backyard. My previous home had professionally installed low voltage lighting, and these solar lights do not compare. However, the solar lights are approximately 5% of the price of the low voltage lights! I have a hard time justifying the expense of low voltage again, even though they are lovely. These lights use only rechargeable batteries, so if you don’t have a battery charger, that will be an additional expense.Overall, I highly recommend these lights. They look good, are a great value and can be assembled in minutes.
The bulbs are perfect. It looks great along my pathway and I could not be happier with any other product.
