Does the job I wanted I have a cabin in a remote area of NE Minn, off the grid. I purchased this light hoping it would provide a little light outside the outhouse at night. Does the job very nicely. Provides a soft glow, rather than a bright light, but works just fine for what I need. You will not be able to read by it, but it will give you plenty of light for safe footing in about a 10-15 foot radius.
Nice but soft light I purchased three of these to put on the gutter on the side of the detached garage for some lighting along the sidewalk. They are nice in that they install easily and nicely blend right in with the gutter. They are not very bright even after charging on a very sunny day and where they are they get at least 6+ hours of direct sunlight. However, I didn’t expect them to be flood lights and they add a nice touch to the yard at night. There is enough light from the one above the door that I can see to put my keys in the lock. They work well enough for that they are. I would give these 3.5 to 4 stars.
Plenty of light These are being use instead of solar light on the ground. Weed eaters were eating them to the point they worked poorly. Attached one about every 20ft on the front side and it gives the look of a well lite house while not using electricity. Have had several people in the neighborhood ask what they are and where to get them. We’ve had two in the back for two years and they still work well and no batteries have been changed. These are NOT spot lights, more mood lights than anything but they do add a nice look at night for low cost.
