NOT Waterproof – What’s the point then? I was so hoping to like these covers. When they arrived, they were made of a heavy vinyl (just like the old gas grill covers.) They fit my wicker chairs nicely but there is a dip across the seats. I didn’t think this would be a problem, but it rained this week and that’s where the water pools. Unfortunately, that’s also where some seams are and the seams are not sealed so the pooling water runs right into the seams and onto my cushions. Protective Chair Cover I bought two of these covers as well as the cover for the love seat. I am totally satisfied with my purchase. The measurements fit my chairs to the exact requirements and do not come off in high winds because of the tape on to the legs to hold them in place. The workmanship is great, but my main concern is that the plastic material would not crack over time due to exposure to the elements. Time will tell, but once I get at least 5 years benefit form the use of the covers I will be completely…
