Be the first on your block to show off the most energy efficient, reliable, and safe lights available: LED Christmas lights. They burn a fraction of the energy and produce a fraction of the heat as normal Christmas lights, and will last much longer too.
Features
These lights are just like normal Christmas lights. They plug into any North American outlet and include a control box which allows you to let them blink, slowly twinkle, or solidly stay on.
Why LED?
LED lights burn roughly 1/6 of the energy as normal light bulbs, giving your energy bill a much needed break during the holiday season. Since they burn little energy, they are also considered safer and far less likely to start a fire.

Exactly what I was looking for. I ordered these right after Thanksgiving, so when I started seeing awful reviews from the beginning of December, I was worried. The listing changed, the picture changed… I know there are several different sellers linked to these lights. I got mine from LED Wholesalers in CA (the ones fulfilled by Amazon sold out as I was putting my order in).I decided to take a video of the lights in action – one full cycle. They’ll keep getting and more out of sych the longer they’re on, so you won’t end up with a tree cycling through the same colors (that was a worry)Each bulb does, in fact, cycle through all the colors. The wires are green.I’m quite happy with them and can’t wait to get them on the tree.
Nice effect, defective product The color changing effect looks nice. Each bulb fades through red, blue, and green several times, fades through pink, and yellow several times, and then repeats the pattern blinking. The bulbs are not synchronized, so after the strand is on for a few minutes, this creates a nice twinkling effect. The strand I received was defective. One section of lights would flicker a few times when plugged in and then go out. I am returning the strand for a refund, since it was shipped from Amazon, but I was unable to get a replacement since this product is no longer available shipped from Amazon.Update:A year later, these are still the nicest lights I could find on Amazon (aside from the really expensive GE Color Effects lights), so I decided to try again. I ordered two sets from different sellers (both fulfilled by Amazon), and they do actually work this time. However, though the two sets have the same name, they came in different boxes, look somewhat different, and have completely different model numbers… which I find a little odd. One is very bright and produces an almost white color over all. The second is a little dimmer, especially the green, so it looks more purple overall. I wouldn’t say it’s worse, just different.Since the different colors are controlled by each individual light, the dim green means the actual bulbs must have been manufactured differently between the two sets. Most likely one is from last year and the second is from a more recent production run. (If I remember correctly, the portion of my first set that actually worked looked identical to the dimmer set, and it came in a similar box.) Just be aware if you’re ordering multiple sets that they may be slightly different. I’ll leave the star rating as it is, since the mismatched sets do limit the placement possibilities of the lights.Aside from that, I think the blinking / fading effect is quite nice.
