Looks very good for the money but not top quality The black cast aluminum is extremely thin and one fixture arrived broken at the top, another bent along the thin frame that holds the glass. The six glass panes are held in place by metal tabs, many of which were not pushed in place enough to secure them, so they fell out during shipping. While most of the glass was still usable, banging around like that created a lot of small glass fragments, so be careful when you unpack not to get cut.We ordered nine light fixtures, and were able to make six usable fixtures from what arrived. We returned three and Amazon shipped three replacements which were all in good shape, with only a few glass panes loose. They look very good and I am hoping they hold up well.
Poor quality While I should have been more astute before ordering as the price was too low to be of much quality, I found the item quite “chintzy”. When trying to return to the supplier, I found the process most different from returning to Amazon, hence I will never again order something from the supplier. They were negligent in sending me the necessary information on how to return. Once I got that I went to Fed Ex only to find that the return fee plus the 15% restocking fee from the supplier was over $18 on the $25 item. Needless to say, I kept the item and it will go into my next garage sale!
