Don’t hesitate. I have a very small water garden in full sun. (roughly 150 gallons) A pump & waterfall was not enough to keep the water clear, it quickly became murky and smelly. I installed this filter yesterday along with a dose of algaecide and less than 12 hours later the water is pristine again. The box is a handy size, not too large for even a lot of container ponds, fountains, or water gardens and seems like it would accommodate most standard pumps inside the box.
