Inside is a rechargeable AA NI-MH battery. 1 LED atop the stake shines through the clear Acrylic 3.75″ W x 3.25″ L x 4.25″ H Hummingbird with the wing up to give a spectacular, decorative color change of 3 different color of Red, Blue, Green lighting effect in your garden. Plant the stake in the ground where it will get full sun, and the photo switch in the solar panel automatically turns itself on at night. Beautiful accent pieces for your night time garden! My wife has literally dozens of these around our home in the landscaping and gardens. She has also given away probably close to 60 individual lights of this type. They are very attractive and easy to install and set up.These are very nice accent pieces for use around your home and garden. They are solar charged using an internal rechargeable battery that is replaceable. It has a small solar panel on the pole that must receive direct sunlight at least 8 hours a day for about 6 hours of use at night. They can stay lit to a little over 8 hours if they receive more sunlight. Make sure the solar panel is aimed at the sun to make sure it charges properly. There is also a thin clean film on some of the solar panels so make sure that you carefully remove it so the solar panel works perfectly.There is a sensor that turns the light on when it gets dark. If you have the unit mounted near a light on your home that is on at night then the LEDs will not light up. There is also an ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the solar panel so make sure that you switch it on and test it when it is dark. We bring ours into the garage in the winter to help save and extend the life of the rechargeable batteries. We also turn them off while they are in the garage.They are very nice and you will enjoy them! I hope my video helps you!
solar hummingbirds I was looking for a different addition to my flower garden, well this was it. The solar hummingbirds has given my garden “character”-they are beautiful. Just order 6 more to spread thru out garden. Once charged with 6 hrs of full sunlight, I havent had a problem. VERY happy with this purchase. Ooh and they arrived quickly!
