Good Loupes, Not stereoscopic. These are great little loupes, and you’ll be amazed as to how dang bright the LEDs included are.The issue stems from the fact that these are mounted (Inappropriately) on a frame for glasses.Mounting these on this frame gives the illusion that they’re stereoscopic (meaning: you can use both eyes at once), but this is wildly inaccurate. I can GUARANTEE that you’ll never use more than one eye at any given time. After using these for about 10 minutes straight, I had severe eye fatigue. Also if you wear these on your face while looking at an item, that item will be touching your nose.Pros:-Good quality for price-Super Bright LEDs-Strong magnification-You get 2 loupesCons:-Not stereoscopic-Extremely short focal range-Not for long periods of useSo overall these loupes are great if you just remove them from their mounting and use them by hand (Like I’m doing), but the fame they’re mounted on proves to be just a useless gimmick.
Pretty cool for the price These glasses look cool and work pretty well. The lights are plenty bright and the lens placement can be adjusted. There is no diopter adjustment so these may not work over glasses. I was a little disappointed with how close you have to be to the subject you wish to magnify. I was hoping to use these to draw very tiny details, but you have to be less than an inch from what you are viewing to see it, so there isn’t really anyway to do anything but view it. That is, you aren’t going to be able to use these for working on something small in most cases.
Retarded Sorry if the word above offends anyone, I am reviewing an inanimate object, not describing the person who designed it.Sucks even more than I expected based on the reviews. It boils down to this: In order to be visible by BOTH EYES, the object you’re looking at has to be a certain distance from your face. This distance is MUCH further away than the sweet spot for the lenses’ focus. So, stereo vision is impossible with these. Get used to the idea that you will be using one eye at at time.
