I think they will work. We have not had a day with full sun. If they work we will be buying more. Out of all of the solar lights the greens seem to work the best
I did not get these for Christmas decorations, but I can see them being used all year ’round! I have them in my japanese maple that I planted for a memorial on my good friends passing. I placed the solar cell part at the top of the ornamental tree and threaded the string of lights through the branches of the tree. I placed the lights inside of the feathery leaves so when they are lit, they can be seen within the leaves and they have the effect of the lights sparkling when you walk by them from the sidewalk by the street. They add a new demention to my landscaping at night. A great way to dress up my front yard. I planted the tree in 1998 so the tree is about 15 feet wide and 6 feet tall. It looks beautiful!
