Worth trying it again. I wanted a really big, easy to read, wall-mounted thermometer for my shop that was able to be calibrated. I bought one of these and when I got it, the glass was broken because it was badly packaged. I returned it and bought a really nice-looking digital thermometer (name rhymes with Arathon) that was great except that it was off by 4-5 degrees and there was no way to calibrate it.
