Box needs reinforcement for shipping I got hooked on using fatwood a few years ago to start my wood stove fires. Nice to only have to use 3-4 pieces to get a good fire going and I light my stove with a propane torch, so the fire’s started in just a few seconds. Unfortunately Amazon didn’t bother to add any tape to the retail box to secure it better and it fell apart while UPS was shipping it. UPS did a good job taping it together and putting it in a heavy clear plastic bag so I don’t think I lost any content. Amazon needs to…
Fatwood Firestarter Friends:We have three wood stoves in a 5000 square foot log home in the remote Sangre de Cristo mountain range of Colorado. Without kindling, one or two pieces of fat wood will get a big wood stove going.Using fat wood instead of old newspapers cuts down on the amount of ash and works so much easier and faster.
