Gets the job done, great for the price! For the price, this liner is great. The one flaw is that the spacing between the quadrants is a little bit off on mine- there is a little bit of overlap on two and a small gap on the other two (see photos). If the liner had been more expensive, I would have rated it lower for this. So far happy… I read all the reviews before I purchased this and understood why people would be concerned about it rusting. While building the fire pit, I left the ring out overnight. There was a heavy mist the following morning and I noticed that the screws showed some rust on them by noon. Before inserting it in the pit, I coated it with some rustoleum high temp paint (bbq pit paint). I’m sure I’ll have to do this on occasion just a regular maintenance through the year. It’s ok, Comparing this ring to that of the product they sells at the big box hardware stores, this one definitely feels and looks much cheaper. But, it is much cheaper…like 50% cheaper, so in reality I have little to complain about.
