Try our convenient 32 oz. of Firefly CLEAN Lamp Oil with Citronella Oil which helps deter mosquitoes. Wow! Finally an ODORLESS Tiki Torch Fuel. The base fuel is odorless. We add Citronella Oil to help keep the bugs at bay. There is only a slight hint of a scent but the bugs can detect It. Here’s an economical thought, turn your refilllable liquid oil candle into a long-lasting citronella candle. Firefly Fuel brings to market a new CLEAN fuel as a DIRECT REPLACEMENT for paraffin lamp oil. NEVER MIX FUELS as mixing will change burning characteristics.
Firefly CLEAN lamp oil is smokeless, sootless, virtually odorless, provides a great flame and is longer lasting than paraffin oil. Firefly CLEAN Fuel is also safely packaged using childproof caps. The Citronella Oil will add a mild, pleasant scent.
We recommend using CLEAN lamp oil in small-wicked devices such as oil candles, oil lamps and lanterns. NEVER MIX FUELS as mixing will change burning characteristics. We DO NOT recommend using this oil in large-wicked vessels like tiki torches as it will smoke. Firefly CLEAN Lamp Oil will perform adequately in Aladdin Magical Mantle Lamps. It will not provide as bright a flame as a 1-k kerosene, Kleen Heat or Aladdin Lamp Oil that have a 141-degree – 145-degree Farenheight flash points. Firefly CLEAN lamp oil was designed specifically to perform best in lanterns with flat wicks and small round-wick candles. The flash point is 220 degrees F.
This fuel is for indoor and outdoor use. Firefly does not add any colorants and uses commercial-style bottles with childproof caps for safety.
We electronically seal our bottles to prevent leakage and our packaging has been tested and approved by FedEx to ensure the product gets to you in tip-top shape.

Find me those old lanterns! My mom brought me two Dietz lanterns that were once used by her father. He used them in the winter to put in the pump house to keep the pipes from freezing. He also burned kerosene in them and over the years they became quite dirty. After he passed away, my mom used them as decorative pieces on the mantel of the fire place and they haven’t been used in 40 years. They were in very good shape, for their age, and I spent some time taking them apart and cleaning them. I didn’t want to restore…
Does Not Freeze! This is the best lantern fuel Does not freeze! I stuck this in the freezer for 12 hours and at 10 degrees F there were no signs of freezing or even congealing. The burn is clean, only a slight odor that is not unpleasant, similar to an unscented candle burning. I use this in Handlan and Adlake railroad lanterns. This stuff burns very slowly and emits great amount of warm light. Everything that is claimed on the label is true. Don’t think about it anymore just buy. I don’t know of a fuel that comes remotely close to…

I decided to put it in the “plugin” containers with the electric warmer so I wouldn’t have to worry about refilling, open wicks and etc. I almost threw away the empty plugin containers and then I thought of this. I know I’m not supposed to use this oil indoors, but I’m in MidTN and bugs here are abundant. All kinds. I was miserable being bitten by bugs inside my home. Now I keep finding bugs laying…
