Over 10% of the reviews say they won’t stay lit-merchant says nothing. At the time I wrote this review this product had 40 reviews. More than 10 of them reported problems with the wick not staying lit. Yet not a single reply from the merchant. Well I’m here to add myself to the growing number of people having a problem with this wick. Bad reviews must be operator error. I bought these months ago to make wine bottle tiki torches. Last night I had friends over and use the tiki torch lanterns for the first time. They stayed lit 4 hours, I’m not sure how long but at least five six hours. I think it’s important to fill the bottle you know up to it about the neck. I did wait maybe 3 hours before actual use from Once I filled them. And once it was lit the flame is what Weeps the oil up the torch. I hope this helps anyone using these in the future and maybe anyone…
