Laguna Max-Flo 600 Waterfall & Filter Pump is designed to circulate water loaded with moderate amounts of solid particles (or solids) and transport them to suitable external filter systems (including pressurized filters) which then trap debris that could potentially pollute pond water, effectively filtering the pond. Max-Flo is ideal for use with filtration systems and for creating waterfalls and watercourses. Easy to install and operate, the pump is completely submersible and engineered to run continuously. Laguna Max Flo solids handling pumps are powered by a magnetic-driven motor that is unmatched in the market for its ability to generate powerful and continuous water flow while consuming minimal electricity-the perfect combination of high pump efficiency and low energy costs. Easy to install and featuring Click-Fit Fast Couplings with outlet diameters of ¾” 1″, 1 ¼”, the Max-Flo 600 can handle solids up to 1/4″ in size and is good for ponds up to 1200 US Gallons. The pump is manufactured in Italy and guaranteed for 3 years.

Does not survive power outages I bought this pump a second time two years ago. The first one performed well for a couple of years but did not survive a neighborhood power outage. I bought the second one assuming it was a one time problem. Recently, the local power company shut down the neighborhood for the day for planned maintenance, and the only item not to survive again was the pump. It is installed with a GFI outlet, I verified the outlet still functions properly. I currently have a spare floating pump/filter…
too small and weak a really good pump; I had a 1500 for almost 10 years. However, I mistakenly thought that a less powerful pump – one supposedly designed for ponds up to 1200 gallons (my pond is about 1000) could also operate a waterfall where the lift would be about 40 inches. The pump lifts the water so it flows over the waterfall lip, but the flow rate is pathetic and the water barely dribbles over the edge. now I have waited too long to return it and am stuck with an under-performing pump. will have to…
